Studying alongside fashion students, you’ll develop key multi-media skills including digital and social media, plus filming and editing video. You’ll work in our high-spec department equipped with industry-standard technology and the latest software, as well as in professional-standard photography studios with the latest camera and video equipment.

You’ll work alongside tutors with expertise from theonline, magazine, photography, and fashion  industries. You’ll also complete fully-assessed work placements: our final-year career development module prepares you for the transition from graduation to full-time work. On this course you will:

• Develop your professional approach to working practices and understanding of industry expectations, while progressing you           towards generating self-initiated projects.
• Cultivate your critical and analytical understanding of Fashion Photography practice,which will be informed by both practical             studies, theory and current practice;developing critical and creative approaches to the limits and possibilities of Fashion                       Photography today.
• Develop your technical skills, which will compliment an understanding of fashion imaging, these will be developed to industry         standards and you will be encouraged to keep a keen interest in current developments within the industry.
• Engage with industry professionals both in the classroom an on industry based briefs and visits.
• You will have the opportunity to work on the production of an annual magazine and undertake organised UK and overseas trips       (additional costs may apply).
• Facilitate an informed judgement about practice and theory, by introducing you to established techniques of independent and         academic enquiry.
• Encourage you to develop and exhibit positive ethical codes as photographers by developing your sense of social consciousness   and ethical self-responsibility.
